Reworking a Ground Floor Tenement Flat
Making the slapping to pull South Light from a bay window into the heart of the Home and making space for the Kitchen.
With the kitchen repositioned and filled with light the rest of the Home could relax into Gallery and home work space for one of Scotland's emerging photographers - Mr Mark Osborne and one of its best Curators

now 70% of the Population of the city of Glasgow live in tenements and some say thats why Glaswegians are a sociable lot.
They have a habit of grabbing people and dont let them go easily. First time buyers + Creatives Mark + Lynn purchased this Ground floor flat when the long term resident completed her life in it. It required substantial reworking as it had an internal Kitchen in a cupboard and light was not flowing from room to room.
All services required to be stripped out and replaced. We secured a Building Warrant for a slapping to the living room wall so that it could share the light pouring in from the bay window to the street.
Years of unintentional neglect were undone and the flat was given a carefully planned shower room with stacked utility functions.
